SOCCER CAMP!!!!!

Many of you know that I coached Alex's 4-5 year old soccer team this year and had a blast. John John has played soccer since he was 4 and they both love it. So we got a flyer about a British Soccer Camp coming to Sebring, it sounded like fun so I signed John up. You had to sign up online and while I was there I noticed a blurb that said "Interested in hosting a British Soccer Coach Click Here", so I clicked and figured what the heck. Since mom passed away I have an empty Guest house so it would be perfect. John John was so excited but, we never got a phone call so I figured they had lots of choices and we weren't picked. The camp was scheduled to begin on Monday, the 23rd and on Wed. the 19th I finally got the call that made John John the happiest camper in the group. The coaches were coming on Sunday and they were staying with us. So everything had to get moving (including a good cleaning of Nana's House) but we got it done and Sunday at 5:30 we met them at the Local YMCA and brought them back to our house for a week of fun and laughter and a little soccer on the side. They have been absolutely wonderful and of course John John has felt like the big cheese at camp. They have been teaching us about English culture and we have been teaching them about American culture (They are most mesmerized by the idea of a "Spanking Spoon" and both swear that when the day comes they will "Americanize" their children by using one. They will be leaving Saturday to go to their next destination and we will miss them, but we are so grateful to have had the time together. Above are some pictures of them (Scott and Rob) with John John and also with a group of our friends that came over to hang out with us.
